Help With Childcare Costs

At Humpty Dumpty Childcare, we are registered with a number of schemes that can help to lower the cost of funding your child’s nursery place. These include Government Funding Schemes (such as 30 hours per week), and voucher schemes (such as Edenred).

These options are available at each of our nurseries in Dartington, Dartmouth and Newton Abbot. Find out more by selecting a scheme below.

Government Funding Schemes

Funding for 2 Year Olds

Who is eligible?
Some families might be eligible for childcare funding from the term after their child’s second birthday. This provides funding for 11 hours (all year round) or 15 hours (term time only) of childcare each week. You will be eligible if you are getting a form of support, including: income Support; income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA); tax credits and have an annual income under £16,190 before tax. You’ll also be eligible if any of the following apply to your child: they’re looked after by a local council; they have a current statement of special education needs (SEN) or an education, health and care (EHC) plan; they get Disability Living Allowance; or they’ve left care under a special guardianship order, child arrangements order or adoption order.
