Early Years Practitioner
Humpty Dumpty Childcare – Dartington, due to an increase in numbers we are looking to recruit a qualified, experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery. You will work as part of the team to provide professional care and education for a group of key children.
Our ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years at Level 3 qualification or above, have experience working in a busy nursery environment and can deliver excellent standards of care and education.
This is a part-time position (27 Hours per week).
Duties will include;
• Supporting the smooth running and high quality early years practice within the room.
• Being a key person and carrying out all responsibilities related to that role. Building a positive, professional working relationships with children, their families and teams members.
• Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times.
Nursery Staff Part Time and Flexible
Humpty Dumpty Childcare looking to recuit a number of part time and flexible ‘Bank’ staff to join our team. You will support our existing full time team members during holiday periods, provide cover for short-notice absence and provide additional cover as needed.
Duties will include supporting staff, helping with activities and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
You must have a keen interest in children’s learning and be able to operate as part of a team. Although for part time positions no qualifications are required, ideally you would have a formal Early Years and Childcare recognised qualification.
This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (‘DBS disclosure’). We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children so we require that all of our staff members and volunteers share this commitment.
