Humpty Dumpty Childcare our Newton Abbot Nursery

Our Newton Abbot Nursery is located in Devon Square and opened in December 2013. Our Newton Abbot daycare setting is registered by Ofsted to provide quality childcare for children aged 3 months – 5 years. The Newton Abbot childcare nursery has consistently been rated as good.

Newton Abbot Childcare

The Newton Abbot nursery offers daycare to all children from babies all the way through to starting school. We divide our Newton Abbot Childcare Nursery into groups depending on the age and level of each individual child.

Newton Abbot Daycare Groups

Within their childcare groups, children can explore play equipment and facilities that are designed to recognise and develop their skills under the watchful supervision of our caring nursery staff. Our Newton Abbot Daycare setting is broken down into babies, toddlers and pre-school.

This means that whenever your child starts their journey with us at our Newton Abbot nursery, they will have the flexibility to move between playrooms as and when their individual abilities show they’re ready for the next challenge!

If you are considering using Childcare Vouchers or your child is eligible for 15 hours or 30 hours free funding please check out our ultimate guide to childcare vouchers and free funding.

We also have nurseries in Dartington and Dartmouth.

Newton Abbot preschool have been reading the story Handa's Surprise. We have been talking about Africa and today we tried some of the fruit Handa had in her basket. We talked about how the different fruits felt before tasting them, using words such as spiky, smooth and bumpy to describe them. We then voted for our favourite fruits. Can you try a new fruit at home? ... See MoreSee Less

Newton Abbot Nursery Parent Reviews

In a recent survey, over 90% of parents said they would recommend Humpty Dumpty Childcare to a friend! This delighted us, and is a testament to the consistently high level of care in all of our nurseries.

Below are a handful of comments from our Newton Abbot Daycare parents:

I am really happy that Jack attends Humpty Dumpty. He has been coming since he was 9 months old (so nearly 3 years) and I feel he has had great personal, educational and social development. He has made friends and has good bonds with the staff. It is great you have lovely, supportive and knowledgeable male and female workers who are all great role models. I know he enjoys it and has a productive time each week. It makes a great difference and help for me that he can attend out of school hours and terms. I shall really miss it when he starts school in September and I know Jack will too. – Dartmouth, 2017

We would like to say huge thank you to all members of humpty dumpy for making Oscars’s days at nursery so lovely. The Ladies at the Newton Abbot Childcare nursery are wonderful angels and they work ever so hard with the little ones. Their professional way of doing things is outstanding and unique. Once more, huge thank you to all of you for everything you do for Oscar. With regards. Oscar’s mum and dad. xxx – Newton Abbot Daycare 2017
