Our Rooms

The Orchard

Our under 2’s area consists of three calm and comfortable rooms. These hygge-inspired spaces help our babies feel secure and settled in a home-from-home environment. With the space split into areas, this allows our youngest children to feel comfortable exploring- should it be for some quiet time to explore stories or the rough and tumble of our indoor physical play equipment to help build those all important muscles. The resources in our baby rooms come mainly from natural materials. We offer our babies an age-appropriate weaning menu developed specifically with little one's pallets.

The Meadow

We have a wide range of open-ended and natural resources in our toddler room to enable the children to use their imaginations and spark their curiosity, building strong relationships with their peers and the staff. The children’s creativity often leads their play in to our outdoors area, which we access regularly in all weathers- from our delightful mud kitchen to our water wall and large sand area. We encourage a shoe-free zone in our nurseries, just as you would at home and recommend cozy slippers for their tiny toes.

The Forest

Our preschoolers have built up their independence throughout their time at nursery and are actively consulted about the activities they have available each day. We offer more adult-led activities in to help the children prepare for their next stage in life- school! However, as we follow the children’s interests to extend their learning, the adult led activities are very much based around what excites and inspires the children. Outdoors, the preschool children love to build, climb and create, testing their own personal boundaries, and with the support and encouragement from our highly trained staff, they go on to accomplish their goals. We encourage a shoe-free zone in our preschool, just as you would at home and recommend cozy slippers to help the child feel more comfortable throughout their day.

Parent Testimonials

'My two boys love coming to nursery every day. They settled incredibly quickly into a welcoming, loving and nurturing family. Thank you for everything that you do.'

'Staff are friendly and caring and my son is always keen to run into nursery in the morning. He enjoys a variety of imaginative activities and there is always a good balance of messy/creative, physical, role play, stories and songs each day. Staff use a child-led approach and so observe what the children are playing with or interested in and develop activities based around this and guide their play into new otherwise unconsidered directions.'

'My two boys love Humpty Dumpty. They love the staff and all the games and activities. They always come home happy. The staff are brilliant, caring and attentive and very accommodating.'
